At APCS, we are committed to make the world a better place. Our positive contribution towards environment and society directly supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Here is how we have contributed:
Recycling Metal Waste
The nature of manufacturing precision metal parts, which uses CNC machining technique, can produce a considerable amount of metal waste. Everyday, we do our best to to tackle this inefficiency at the root by optimising production process and raw material usage to minimise metal scraps being produced.
For the unavoidable metal waste, we carefully sort them into different grades, and recycle through partnering with local recycling companies. Each year approximately 1,000 tons of our metal scraps are being recycled, which reduces the requirement of new raw material extraction from Earth surface and decreases burden on the environment.
Giving Back
We are a strong advocate in giving back to the society. At corporate level, we are a proud supporter of Social Innovation Foundation, which dedicates their work to uplifting the living standards for disables in Thailand. In the past 6 years, the foundation successfully created jobs for over 20,000 disables, an unprecedented outcome in Thailand.
At individual level, we empower employees with giving back spirits through ‘Asia Volunteer’ and ‘Home Town Development’ projects, which have help the less fortunate throughout the country.
